Occasionally we will have customers ask “How many people have been injured on this thing?” To date we are proud to reply “None”.
Does that mean that it will never happen? No. What it does mean is we strive to provide our customers with games that, when operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines, are safe for you, your friends, family and guests.
So how do we minimize the risk that someone will be injured? Teamwork! It’s a team that is made up of all of us. We’re all responsible to make sure that everyone enjoys the inflatable experience in a safe manner.
What does the Partywerks Staff bring to the team?
We start by offering our customers inflatable games that are as safe as possible. This includes only offering inflatables that are manufactured completely of fire resistant 18oz commercial vinyl- made expressly for use in inflatable games. This also means offering games that are built by reputable, experienced manufacturers who know how to safely design and build inflatable games. We build the team by insuring the environment the games are placed is safe and free from unnecessary hazards. This includes insuring the games are clean, in good repair and maintained and operated following the manufacturer’s direction. We further increase our contribution to the team by educating our customers on the safe operation of the games, pointing out the safety instructions which are on every inflatable game at the entrance.
We also provide our customers with peace of mind by maintaining liability insurance. This extremely expensive, and equally important, service is another component we bring to the team. As a member of the International Inflatable Games and Products Association (www.iigpa.com) we voluntarily hold ourselves to the high standards set forth by our membership. Many rental companies choose not to provide this service to their customers. We believe it is simply part of being a responsible company. What do we need you to contribute to the team?
You can bring enormous resources to the team! By working together to determine the best location to erect the games, keeping safety in mind, we start with a solid plan. The teamwork continues by working with us to insure the guests enjoy the games safely and in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Sometimes this involves gently reminding a guest of a safety consideration – sometimes it takes a little more ‘reminding’ to get their attention! Occasionally it will involve the guest’s parents or responsible party working with the team to insure that everyone enjoys the inflatables! We all want the same thing- an enjoyable event for everyone!
Sometimes teamwork involves flexibility and adaptation! Perhaps you envisioned the games being erected in a certain area, but upon evaluation, our experienced staff suggests another area for safety reasons. We recognize that you have invested a large amount of time, money and energy in your event. We want your event to be a success as much as you do! But we also want it to be safe for you and your guests. Let’s work together to make it happen!
